Dorper sheep are a breed specifically raised for meat production, and the meat from Dorpers is recognized worldwide for it’s high quality and mild flavour. Our grass-fed lamb is a great source of protein, healthy fats, and trace minerals and vitamins.

Our sheep and lambs are raised on pasture, and fed an alfalfa hay mix during the winter months. Our breeding stock are supplemented with a very small amount of grain in the winter months to help them maintain condition during cold temperatures as they head into breeding season. We feel this is in the best interest for their health and fertility and does not affect the quality of our primarily grass-fed meat.

As with all our animals, We practice Planned Grazing techniques to ensure the health of our soil, ecosystem, and animals.
